DescriptionThe whole story▼

A few MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR bikes from 2020 to 2025 are prepared for racing in naked-bike classes or used exclusively for circuit sessions. For those machines, Accossato offers the AGPA106 front pad in the EV2 racing mixture. It is a competition compound designed for hard, repeated braking from very high speed and is not intended for everyday road riding.

Key Features

  • Front pads AGPA106 for the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR, 2020 to 2025
  • EV2 racing mixture, SKU AGPA106EV2
  • Accossato calls it a top racing compound
  • Designed for hard braking from very high speed
  • For naked-bike racing and circuit-only use
  • Not meant for road riding
  • ST, EV1 and ZXC are also made on this plate
  • No ABE on file; for track use only

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato places EV2 among its leading racing compounds. On a Brutale 1000 RR used on track, the front brake has to handle heavy loads at the end of every straight, and EV2 is the compound designed for that job. Accossato's general points for its pads include slow wear, heat control against fade and a strong stopping effect.

Naked-Bike Racing

Naked-bike classes are growing in some national and club championships, and the Brutale 1000 RR is a strong contender. In racing, riders need to brake at the limit lap after lap, often alongside other bikes. A racing compound designed for high loads helps the rider brake consistently throughout the race. Racing fluid, checked lines and clean calipers complete the preparation.

Check pad wear after every session and replace the pads before they become too thin. A fresh set for the race is often worth it.

Getting Used to EV2

Racing pads can feel different from road pads. Use the first practice session to build braking pressure gradually and learn how the bike reacts. The Brutale pitches forward sharply under hard braking, so a steady upper body and firm knee grip on the tank help the rider stay composed while the fork compresses.

Fitment and Compatibility

For the front of the 2020 to 2025 Brutale 1000 RR, Accossato's catalogue names AGPA106; the rear counterpart is AGPA42. No disc from the Turin-area maker is shown for this bike. Buy a pair of boxes, one per front caliper.

Road Approval

AGPA106EV2 has no ABE or German approval mark in our records. It is intended for racing.

Scope of Delivery
