DescriptionThe whole story▼

Plenty of Suzuki GSX650F owners load up the panniers, put a passenger on the back and head for the Alps. For a bike built between 2008 and 2018 that is used this way, Accossato offers the AGPA75 front pad in its Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA75ST. The compound is aimed at riders who ride whatever the weather, from a damp October morning to a long descent from a mountain pass with a full touring load, and who want the lever to feel the same throughout.

Key Features

  • Front pad AGPA75 for the Suzuki GSX650F, 2008 to 2018
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA75ST
  • Accossato: steady grip whether hot or cold
  • Designed to bite well on wet discs
  • Consistent lever feel with luggage and pillion
  • A compound for riding in every season
  • OR, EV1 and EV2 are cut to the same shape
  • No ABE available; offered for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes its Sintered compound as holding a high grip level that stays constant, whether the pad is cold at the start of a ride or hot after a long downhill run, and it adds that the mixture works well in the wet. The maker also stresses low wear and limited heat build-up against fade. Those properties matter on a heavy, fully loaded touring bike more than on a solo sprint.

Rain, Passes and a Full Load

A GSX650F with top box, side cases and a passenger weighs a great deal more than the bike alone, and on a long alpine descent the front brake works almost continuously. A compound that keeps its bite as it warms up makes these descents calmer. The same goes for autumn riding, when the roads are wet, leaves lie in the corners and the discs are sprayed with water for hours. Here a sintered pad offers a steady pressure point that does not change much with the weather.

If you ride all year and do not want to switch pads for the season, this is the mixture Accossato recommends for such a demanding mix of conditions.

Before the Trip

Check the pad thickness and the condition of the discs before a long holiday, and look at the brake fluid level. Replace pads in pairs and allow a few gentle rides for bedding in before the first loaded pass.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPA75 is the front pad for the Suzuki GSX 650 F in Accossato's list, years 2008 to 2018. The rear brake of this GSX650F takes the Accossato AGPP88 pad. One box covers one caliper; please count the calipers on your front wheel before you order.

Road Approval

No ABE or approval document is available to us for the AGPA75ST sintered pad. We therefore sell it for use on closed circuits and in competition.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered pads in the box, one set for one front caliper.
