DescriptionThe whole story▼
A motocross race day is often decided over two motos, and the break between them is short. For a rider on the GasGas MC 250, the two-stroke crosser in the range, that break is also workshop time: the bike is cleaned down, the air filter is checked, fuel is topped up and damage from the first race is put right. A bent front brake lever is one of the most frequent jobs, because a crosser that goes down in a turn nearly always lands on the end of its handlebar. For the MC 250 of 2023 to 2026, Accossato offers the AGD319, a silver brake lever in the original form.

Construction and Material Quality
Between two races, an original-type lever has an obvious advantage: nothing has to be relearned. Accossato describes the AGD319 as an original spare part type for GasGas and Husqvarna, designed to restore the bike to its original style, and says it can take the place of the standard lever on the MC 250 with no difference in ergonomics or resistance. It is silver. That is all the maker states about the lever itself, and we keep to it.
Between the Two Motos
The time between motos passes quickly, so the work has to be planned. The first minutes belong to the rider, who needs to drink, cool down and talk through the first race. Then the bike gets a quick check in a fixed order. Start with the handlebar, the levers and the controls, because those are the parts a fall damages most often and the parts the rider needs most in the first corner. If the brake lever on the MC 250 is bent, change it straight away: remove the old one, wipe the pivot clean, give it a little grease, fit the new lever and check that it moves freely and returns on its own. Then squeeze it several times with the bike on its stand and feel for a firm, repeatable pressure point. Spin the front wheel and brake it to be sure. Only after that do the other jobs follow, the air filter, the chain and the fuel. A rider who rolls up to the start knowing the brake works as it should can concentrate on the gate.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD319 for the MC 250 of 2023 to 2026. With us, the same lever is also listed for the MC 250F and for Husqvarna's FE 501 and TE 300. Please compare the product photo with the lever on your MC 250 before ordering. The list starts with the 2023 model year, so an older bike needs a particularly careful comparison.
Road Approval
We do not hold an ABE or test mark for the AGD319; its listing here is for racing and competition use.
