DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki GSX1250FA is a heavy bike, and at walking pace the rear brake is what keeps it steady: in car parks, in slow queues and on tight turns. AGPP88 in the Organic (OR) mixture is Accossato's rear pad for the GSX1250FA from 2015 to 2018. It suits riders who use the Bandit for commuting and relaxed riding, and who want a quiet, gentle rear brake that treats the disc well over many months.

Key Features

  • Rear pads for the Suzuki GSX1250FA, 2015 to 2018
  • Organic compound, article AGPP88OR
  • Accossato promises long performance and less disc wear
  • Smooth control for a heavy bike at low speed
  • Quiet in traffic
  • Front pad AGPA75 listed
  • Bandit and Traveller versions covered
  • No German approval; offered for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's description of Organic is a pad that performs for longer and limits disc wear. For the rear of a heavy all-rounder used daily, that is the right priority. Accossato also mentions limited heat and therefore little fade, plus reliable stopping.

Handling a Heavyweight at Low Speed

Turning a GSX1250FA in a narrow street or manoeuvring it into a parking space asks for fine control. A light drag of the rear brake, with the clutch slipping and a little throttle, keeps the heavy bike balanced. An organic rear pad bites softly and progressively, which makes that technique easier, and it generally stays quiet. Keep the rear disc clean when lubricating the chain, and check the pad thickness at every chain adjustment. After fitting new pads, press the pedal until it firms up, then bed them in with a few calm stops. Many Bandit owners find that a gentle rear brake makes the big bike feel lighter in town. It also makes a slow U-turn with the GSX1250FA on a narrow lane far less stressful.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPP88 is listed for the GSX 1250 FA Bandit from 2016 to 2018 and the GSX 1250 FA Traveller from 2015 to 2016, which together span the GSX1250FA from 2015 to 2018. There is one rear caliper, so one box is enough. The front pad from Accossato is AGPA75. The rear pad is also made in Sintered.

Road Approval

AGPP88OR has no ABE or German test paperwork on our side, so it is sold for racing use.

Scope of Delivery
