DescriptionThe whole story▼

The 2024 Zero S ZF14.4 has plenty of pull for fast roads, and Accossato offers its AGPA96 front pad in EV1 street/track compound for riders who enjoy that side of the bike. EV1 is designed for ambitious street riding and amateur track use. It sits between the everyday compounds and the pure racing mixes, giving a firmer, more direct feel at the lever without requiring race temperatures.

Key Features

  • AGPA96 front pads for the Zero S 2024 (ZF14.4)
  • EV1 street/track compound
  • Excellent grip on the street and at amateur track days, says Accossato
  • Sharp, controllable initial bite
  • Usable on the way to and from the circuit
  • Siblings for this pad: OR, ST, EV2, ZXC
  • Two pads per box

Construction and Material Quality

EV1, as Accossato puts it, gives excellent grip for street use and amateur track riding. On the latest S, that means a front brake that responds quickly and precisely, whether you are on a winding road or a short circuit. The company also designs its pads to limit heat build-up and wear slowly, so the compound stays consistent through a spirited ride.

Electric Torque and Precise Stopping

Electric bikes accelerate instantly, and the 2024 Zero S reaches speed quickly between corners. That makes the braking phase more important: you arrive at the next bend faster than you might expect. An EV1 pad gives a clear, direct response so you can judge braking precisely. On a trackday, remember that the motor's regeneration can be adjusted and affects how much the friction brakes have to do. Check pads and fluid before the event, and let the brakes cool with a slow lap at the end of each session. On the road, the same set stays friendly enough for a relaxed ride through town, so you do not need a second pair of pads just for the trackday. Owners who ride mainly in heavy traffic may find the organic or sintered versions a better daily match.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA96 for the front of the Zero S ZF14.4, 2024. The S from 2015 to 2017 requires AGPA92. The rear pad offered for the S is AGPP91. Fit both pads of the caliper together, clean the pistons before pushing them back and bed the pads in with increasingly firm stops. Pump the lever until firm before riding off.

Road Approval

No German ABE or test certificate is available to us for this item, so it is sold for motorsport use.
