DescriptionThe whole story

The Triumph BONNEVILLE T100 BLACK looks unhurried and is not. The N007 is one of the few ZCOO references whose two pads differ: ZRM-N007ZM_A + ZRM-N007ZM_B at 101.5 by 39.0 mm beside ZRM-N007ZM_B at 101.5 by 39.0 mm. What the N007 carries is EX Race: a ceramic sinter tuned for proportionality over attack.

Key Features

  • Direct replacement for the standard Nissin pad on the Triumph BONNEVILLE T100 BLACK - no shims, no spacers, no modification
  • Compatible with the standard Nissin retaining pin and spring of the BONNEVILLE T100 BLACK - nothing else to buy
  • Wear stays even across the 101.5 mm of friction face rather than concentrating at the leading edge
  • Ceramic sintering rather than a resin binder, so there is nothing in the N007 to cook out at the top of the range
  • Part number Z-N007-EX, EAN 4950545750105
  • The N007 is one of 16 shapes ZCOO builds; this is the one your Nissin caliper takes

Construction and Material Quality

Two things define how a N007 behaves: the ceramic mixture and the plate under it. The friction layer of the N007 is bonded by a joining process Okada Corporation developed against the failure that ends most sintered pads. That is why the N007 holds a consistent contact patch deep into its service life.

Performance and Feel

EX Race does not try to be the most aggressive compound in the Nissin caliper. The compound lays a thin ceramic film on the rotor as it beds, which is why the Triumph BONNEVILLE T100 BLACK sees far less disc wear than a conventional sinter would cause. On a BONNEVILLE T100 BLACK that means a brake which behaves the same in February traffic and on an August pass.

Fitment and Compatibility

The N007 is ZCOO's listed reference for the Triumph BONNEVILLE T100 BLACK between 2016 and 2020. Front axle only; the N007 has no rear counterpart in the ZCOO programme. The same N007 shape covers 70 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 101.5 mm length and 39.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
