DescriptionThe whole story▼

Built from a single cast aluminium monoblock body and finished in a hard titanium anodised coating, the Talos C52 is a purpose-engineered racing brake caliper that delivers the structural rigidity and consistent stopping power demanded by serious track riders. The P4 32/32 piston layout, four matched 32 mm stainless steel pistons working in perfect symmetry, ensures even pad loading across the full braking zone, giving you the linear, fade-resistant feel that makes lap times repeatable.

Key Features

  • Cast monoblock construction resists flexing under heavy braking loads, maintaining caliper stiffness where forged units cost significantly more
  • Four 32 mm stainless steel pistons in a balanced P4 layout deliver smooth, progressive pressure build-up and predictable feel deep into long stints
  • Titanium anodised finish protects against corrosion, abrasion and sustained thermal stress at race operating temperatures
  • 100 mm radial mounting pitch fits a wide range of performance and race-prepared motorcycles
  • Compatible with brake discs from 290 mm to 330 mm diameter and pad thicknesses of 4 to 5.5 mm
  • Also available in Blue Anodised and Gold Anodised finishes to suit individual build aesthetics

Cast Monoblock Body — Stiffness Without Compromise

The C52 housing is machined from a precision cast monoblock, a one-piece structure with no bridge bolts or joint faces to introduce compliance under load. The result is a caliper that holds its geometry at race braking temperatures, keeping pad contact consistent lap after lap. At 798 g the C52 sits in the right weight bracket for a performance fitment — substantial enough to resist distortion, light enough not to burden unsprung mass.

P4 32/32 Piston Configuration

Symmetrical piston sizing is the foundation of predictable braking. All four stainless steel pistons measure exactly 32 mm in diameter, so fluid pressure translates into equal clamping force on both sides of the disc simultaneously. Brake fade resistance improves because heat is distributed evenly across both pad faces, and initial bite remains consistent whether you are braking at the end of the straight on lap two or lap twenty.

Titanium Anodised Finish

The C52.100.TI.R receives a titanium anodised surface treatment that does far more than look purposeful in the pits. Hard anodising penetrates the aluminium surface to create an integral oxide layer that resists track grime, brake dust abrasion and the cyclic heat cycling that degrades paint or plating over time. The finish is colour-matched across the caliper body and bleed nipple housing for a clean, consistent appearance on the bike.

Fitment and Compatibility

This caliper is supplied as a front right unit with a 100 mm radial mounting pitch. It is intended for track, race and performance conversion use only and is not road-legal. Verify the radial mounting spacing, disc diameter and brake line port position on your specific motorcycle before ordering. Brake pads are not included.

  • Mounting pitch: 100 mm radial
  • Position: front right
  • Compatible disc diameter: 290–330 mm
  • Compatible pad thickness: 4–5.5 mm
  • Brake line port: standard
  • Use: racing only, not road-homologated
