Born on a Moto2 Engine

Spark states the origin plainly: the Grid-O came out of development work on the Triumph Moto2 power unit. That is not marketing language attached afterwards — the case exists because a championship engine needed a silencer that weighed almost nothing and survived a season.

What reached the catalogue is the same article, with the engraving added.

The Mesh

Where every other Spark family finishes with a solid cap, the Grid-O finishes with a woven titanium grid across the whole outlet. It is the single most recognisable thing Spark makes, and it is why the case reads as extreme even standing still.

The mesh also colours. Titanium takes on deep blues and violets as it heats, and on the grid — thin, directly in the gas stream — that happens faster and goes further than on the body.

Sixty Millimetres

This is the narrower of the two Grid-O inlets. Its sibling G00SI30T takes 65 mm and is otherwise the same article at the same length. Spark asks buyers to name the code when ordering because the two are indistinguishable in a photograph.

Which Machines It Suits

Spark names Ducati V4 and V2, Triumph Street Triple, Yamaha MT-09 and KTM 1390 as bikes whose character the Grid-O style suits. That is a note about design, not a fitment list — this is a universal case and it still needs a link pipe made for whatever it goes on.

The Insert Is Optional

The Grid-O ships open. A removable db killer can be added, which lets the same silencer run inside a circuit's noise limit and then open again afterwards. Order it as a separate article and order it at the same time.
