The material is UV-stabilised throughout — not simply coated — so protection against solar degradation does not peel or fade. Perimeter edges are radiused to a smooth, rounded profile that satisfies TÜV requirements and removes any risk of injury during a fall or when fitting and removing the screen. At 407 g, it adds negligible unsprung mass and installs with the original mounting hardware.
