Öhlins machines the eye from the same billet as the body on many units.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension A 26 mm

Öhlins part number 10037-02

Dimension B 42 mm

What It Is

Öhlins gives it as 26 mm, 42 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs. Öhlins machines the eye from the same billet as the body on many units.

Genuine Service Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 10037-02 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 26 mm, dimension b 42 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. The eye takes the entire load path from wheel to chassis. A worn end eye bearing is a common source of rear-end vagueness that gets blamed on damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 10037-02

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 26 mm

Dimension B: 42 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/10037-02_2f2c10d8-ee83-407c-8f4e-85d9dcb869a3.png?v=1788878184
