Springs are a service part: they age, they settle, and replacing them restores the geometry. Springs are the cheapest suspension part and the one that decides the most. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour.

Genuine Service Part

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 25618-03. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 50.2 mm, dimension b 80 mm, dimension c 3 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A settled spring lowers the machine without anyone changing a setting. A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25618-03

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 50.2 mm

Dimension B: 80 mm

Dimension C: 3 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25618-03_0e3aad77-c503-4fb8-8be1-638afc223bf9.png?v=1788880939
