Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper.

Key Features

Dimension A 24 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 20045-02

Dimension C 25 mm

Dimension B 34 mm

Where It Sits

24 mm, 34 mm, 25 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. Substituting a spacer changes the internal geometry, not just the fit. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 20045-02 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 24 mm, dimension b 34 mm, dimension c 25 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Öhlins gives each length its own number because the assembly depends on it. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 20045-02

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 24 mm

Dimension B: 34 mm

Dimension C: 25 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/20045-02_9cf61a89-665c-47f6-928d-41e7636e7d98.png?v=1788879167
