Function
Öhlins gives it as 12 mm, 27 mm, 0.25 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Öhlins holds thickness to hundredths of a millimetre because that is the resolution damping changes at. A stack combines several diameters so the curve changes progressively rather than in steps. Öhlins grinds shims to a flatness tolerance because the faces have to seal against each other.
