The polished section runs in the seal; a mark there ends the seal's life.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Length 162 mm

Diameter 14 mm

Öhlins part number 64103-13

What It Is

This one measures 14 mm, 162 mm, and those figures are what separate it from the neighbouring numbers. Shaft straightness matters: a bent shaft drags in the seal head and destroys the seal within hours. Shaft diameter sets the displaced volume, which is why it is part of the damper's specification. Surface hardness is what lets the shaft survive thousands of cycles through a seal.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 64103-13 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check diameter 14 mm, length 162 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Adjuster shafts run inside the main shaft on units with a rod-through adjuster. This is a part that is replaced rather than repaired.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 64103-13

Category: Damper Shafts

Diameter: 14 mm

Length: 162 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/64103-13_dc8a9821-452a-4ced-b6f5-b3a4bcce9170.png?v=1788878742
