Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life.

Key Features

Dimension B 101 mm

Dimension A 48 mm

Öhlins part number 21010-69

Original Öhlins service part

Finish: black

Where It Sits

Dimensionally this is 48 mm, 101 mm, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. The outer tube holds the bushings and the seal head, so its bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Outer tubes are specific to the fork model and its travel. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Why the Original

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Identifying the Right Part

21010-69 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. The published dimensions are dimension a 48 mm, dimension b 101 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again. Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21010-69

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 48 mm

Dimension B: 101 mm

Finish: Black

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21010-69_d287c426-b07d-48c5-862b-563ea5b67a21.png?v=1788879285
