DescriptionThe whole story▼
Lock nut M44x1.5, Öhlins part number 60155-02. Lock nuts hold their setting against the vibration a suspension unit lives with.
Key Features
- Thread M44x1.5
- Öhlins part number 60155-02
- Original Öhlins service part
Where It Sits
Öhlins publishes thread M44x1.5 for 60155-02 — the dimensions are the identity of the part. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them.
Original Öhlins Part
Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.
Identifying the Right Part
Öhlins identifies this position by the number 60155-02 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. The thread is M44x1.5. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice.
Fitting and Setup Service
If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.
