Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21664-16

What It Is

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly. Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately.

Original Öhlins Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21664-16. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21664-16

Category: Fork Bottoms

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21664-16_4728a115-cde1-4fba-95e8-d4335d67a021.png?v=1788879994
