Measure the old part against them before ordering. Thread pitch on end caps is specific to the tube they close. Top eyes with an integrated preload adjuster are listed as one part. The end eye carries the whole load of the damper into the chassis.

Why the Original

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 60220-30 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 35 mm, dimension c 13 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The end eye carries the entire load of the damper into the chassis, which is why it is machined rather than cast. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 60220-30

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 35 mm

Dimension C: 13 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/60220-30_10cc28d5-0397-4386-a665-05461e5d3996.png?v=1788878668
