DescriptionThe whole story▼
Cylinder tube 36/150 Al, Öhlins part number 67300-13. Öhlins gives the tube its diameter and its working length as a pair — a tube of the same bore but different length belongs to a different unit.
Key Features
- Length 150 mm
- Diameter 36 mm
- Öhlins part number 67300-13
- Original Öhlins service part
Function
67300-13 is the 36 mm, 150 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. The cylinder tube is the working bore: the piston runs inside it and every damping force is reacted by its wall. Twin-tube dampers use two concentric tubes, and both are listed separately. The tube is what the whole damper is built around: everything else references its bore.
Genuine Service Part
An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.
How to Be Sure It Fits
The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 67300-13 in this case. Check diameter 36 mm, length 150 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The cylinder tube is the working bore: the piston runs inside it and every damping force is reacted by its wall. Twin-tube dampers use two concentric tubes, and both are listed separately.
Fitting and Setup Service
Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.
