Engineering & Build Quality
Öhlins engineers designed the FKR 127 from the ground up for high-end motorsport. The TTX (Twin Tube X-over) architecture routes oil through a patented cross-flow valve arrangement, separating compression and rebound circuits more cleanly than single-tube designs. The result is a damping curve that remains predictable even when oil temperature rises during extended track sessions. The 8 mm piston rod — larger than the factory specification — increases rigidity under lateral loads and contributes directly to the reduced internal operating pressure that defines TTX performance.
Every component is manufactured to Öhlins' motorsport tolerances. The cartridge body, piston and valve stack are engineered as an integrated system rather than an assembly of off-the-shelf parts, which is why Öhlins specifies installation by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre to guarantee correct preload, oil volume and damping settings from the first session.

The Öhlins FKR 127 Cartridge Kit is designed for race use only. It is not approved for use on public roads in Germany under the StVZO, and should not be used on road-registered motorcycles. It is compatible exclusively with the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SC82 (2020–2026) equipped with Öhlins fork FL 941 — it is not a fitment for standard CBR 1000 RR-R models with the OEM fork. Installation must be carried out by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre.
