Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 15430-07

Where It Sits

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.

Why the Original

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 15430-07. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15430-07

Category: Plugs

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15430-07_09bc8c05-63e7-43e4-8c9a-65b888749ccb.png?v=1788878798
