DescriptionThe whole story▼
Adj. needle 1.5 adj. slot, Öhlins part number 15002-01. Needle and seat together meter the bleed flow; damage to either changes the whole adjustment range.
Key Features
- Original Öhlins service part
- Öhlins part number 15002-01
Where It Sits
This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Öhlins publishes the click count for each unit, and a rebuilt adjuster should return it. A rounded tip means the first clicks stop doing anything. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel.
Original Öhlins Part
Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.
How to Be Sure It Fits
Order under 15002-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. A rounded tip means the first clicks stop doing anything. Adjuster housings carry seals, and a leak there empties the damper as surely as a shaft seal.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
