DescriptionThe whole story▼

The rear of a STREET TRIPLE 675 is defined by what hangs off it. The LighTech FRE930 is a pair of aluminium LED indicators, E8 approved, 95 g. It is meant to go onto a LighTech holder, not onto the original STREET TRIPLE 675 bracket.

Key Features

  • May need a load resistor or an LED flasher relay — see the note below
  • A universal pair — the fit depends on the mount, not on the model
  • LighTech part number FRE930
  • LED technology, so the current draw is a fraction of a bulb
  • 100 % Made in Italy
  • Covers the STREET TRIPLE 675 across 11 model years (2007 to 2017)

In the Workshop

Installation is wiring work rather than mechanical work. Check the polarity before you close everything up — an indicator wired the wrong way round does not light. Check it again after the first ride.

Why Change the Indicators

An indicator is a legal requirement and a styling decision at the same time. LighTech machines the FRE930 from aluminium and has the pair approved under E8. A stock item rather than a special order.

What It Fits

This listing covers the Triumph STREET TRIPLE 675, 2007 to 2017. The indicator itself is universal; what decides the fit is the bracket or holder it goes on. The data comes from LighTech; the final check happens on the motorcycle.

LEDs and Your Flasher

The FRE930 is an LED unit, and that has a consequence. A standard flasher is a load-dependent device. Fit the FRE930 without compensating and the STREET TRIPLE 675 will blink fast. The resistor kits are listed separately — tell us your STREET TRIPLE 675 and we will say whether one is needed.

Supplied As

One pair per order. Resistors or an LED relay are separate part numbers where the STREET TRIPLE 675 needs them.

What the Approval Covers

E8 approval applies to the FRE930 itself. An approved indicator in the wrong position is still a fault at inspection. If the STREET TRIPLE 675 carries a plate, check the mounting position against the national rules.
