DescriptionThe whole story▼
Protecting your brake lever from accidental engagement is a genuine safety priority, whether you are lapping a circuit on a trackday or navigating close traffic on the road. The LighTech ISS113RA brake lever guard is engineered specifically for the Triumph Daytona 675 and 675 R, delivering that protection in a CNC-machined aluminium package that adds almost nothing in weight or bulk.
Key Features
- 132 mm guard length offers meaningful brake lever protection without intruding on cockpit space, striking the ideal balance between safety and a clean racing aesthetic.
- CNC-machined from high-grade aluminium and finished with a precision anodised surface — resistant to corrosion and built to withstand the rigours of track and road use alike.
- Vehicle-specific adapter KPL302 is included, enabling a direct, plug-and-play fit on the original OE handlebar of the Daytona 675 and 675 R — no modification required.
- Prevents accidental brake lever activation caused by contact with trackside furniture, other riders or street obstacles, reducing a recognised crash risk at source.
- Available in seven anodised colours, allowing the guard to complement your Daytona's livery without compromise.
- Ideal for trackday riders, club racers and road riders who demand an extra layer of active safety from their controls.
Design and Construction
LighTech has built its reputation on precision CNC machining, and the ISS113RA reflects that fully. The guard body is milled from solid aluminium billet, producing a component that is both exceptionally light and torsionally rigid. At 132 mm the profile sits close to the lever without creating a handling obstruction, while the anodised finish — available in black, silver, gold, orange, red, green or blue — ensures the guard remains sharp-looking across thousands of kilometres of use.
Safety and Intended Use
Accidental brake actuation is a documented hazard in both circuit racing and everyday road riding. A lever guard acts as a physical barrier, stopping clothing, harness webbing, other riders' hands or track debris from depressing the lever unintentionally. The 132 mm ISS113RA is designed to meet that need on the Triumph Daytona 675 platform without requiring any permanent alteration to the motorcycle. Installation takes minutes using the supplied KPL302 adapter, which locates precisely on the stock handlebar end.
For riders who prefer a slightly longer guard profile, LighTech also offers a 148 mm version of the same guard. The ISS113RA can equally be paired with a LighTech clutch lever guard for a fully matched safety setup on both sides of the bar.
Fitment and Compatibility
This brake lever guard is designed and confirmed to fit the following motorcycles with the original equipment handlebar, using the included KPL302 adapter:
- Triumph Daytona 675 — 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012
- Triumph Daytona 675 R — 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012
Fitment is to the OE handlebar only. Aftermarket handlebars or clip-ons may require a different adapter; consult the LighTech adapter range for alternative configurations.
