DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Speed Triple 1200 RS combines an upright naked bike riding position with a 1160 cc triple that pulls cleanly from low revs. It is ridden fast on country roads, and that is where the stock pegs touch down first. This MUE2 rearset for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS from 2022 on moves them by up to 38 mm upwards and 36 mm to the rear.

Key Features

  • Built for the standard shift pattern
  • Removable exhaust bracket
  • Brake and shift levers on double ball bearings, free of play
  • Folding footpegs, as the road approval requires
  • Brake and shift pedal length adjustable to your boot
  • Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91506

A big range for a naked bike

That is a generous range for a naked bike. It lets riders with long legs keep a relaxed knee angle while gaining clearance, and it gives shorter riders the option of a sportier position without stretching. The normal shift pattern is used; this version does not reverse.

Exhaust bracket that comes off

The system includes a removable exhaust bracket, useful when the standard exhaust is replaced. With 580 g on the left and 609 g on the right, the MUE2 is also a light replacement for the factory parts.

Road Approval

On the Triumph SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS this rearset is covered by ABE No. KBA 91506, so it may be ridden on public roads without an inspection or an entry in the documents. The ABE requires the folding peg adapters and asks for the headlight aim to be checked after installation. A printed copy of the certificate travels with the bike.

Scope of Delivery

Left and right units come complete with folding footpegs, the brake pedal and the shift lever on their bearings, the shift linkage and heel guards on both sides. The set includes fitting instructions and the printed ABE.
