DescriptionThe whole story▼

Behind the right-hand footpeg of the RR 390 4T sits the rear brake fluid reservoir, closed off by a small cover that takes the brunt of whatever stones and mud the rear wheel kicks up. Accossato's PBH01 is the rear brake reservoir cover for the Beta RR 390 4T, built from 2015 to 2020, available in blue or red and worth having to hand whenever the rear brake is bled or topped up.

Key Features

  • Rear brake reservoir cover for the Beta RR 390 4T, 2015 to 2020
  • Accossato code PBH01
  • Available in blue or red
  • Fits over the rear brake fluid reservoir by the footpeg
  • Same code also listed for the Honda CRF450R, the Honda CRF450X and the Yamaha WR450F
  • Accossato also offers the ABH01 and ABM01 front brake and clutch reservoir covers for this bike
  • No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding

Construction and Material Quality

Low on the bike and close to the rear wheel, the rear reservoir cover sees rougher treatment than most of the smaller parts on an RR 390 4T, and Accossato's PBH01 is shaped to seat over this reservoir in the same way the original cover does. Only blue and red are offered, which is enough choice to match the bike without turning it into a decision that needs much thought. Once the old cover has gone stiff or chipped at the edge, fitting a new one restores a clean seal around the reservoir without any other work.

Brake Fluid Changes and the Rear Reservoir

Any time the rear brake fluid is changed or bled, this cover has to come off first, and an original that has already been prised open several times over the years tends to fit less snugly each time it goes back on. Fluid itself is harsh on paint and on an ageing cover alike, so having one that seats cleanly reduces the chance of a mess during the job rather than after it. Fitting the PBH01 while the rear brake is already apart for a fluid change is the easiest moment to deal with a cover that no longer closes properly.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's application list has the PBH01 fitting the RR 390 4T from 2015 to 2020. The same rear reservoir cover is also used on Honda's CRF450R and CRF450X and on Yamaha's WR450F, three larger four-strokes built around a comparable reservoir layout. The RR 390 4T itself also takes the ABH01 and ABM01 front brake and clutch reservoir covers from the same range. Checking the exact build year against the application list is still worth doing before ordering.

Road Approval

No German ABE is on file for the PBH01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.

Scope of Delivery

This listing covers one rear brake reservoir cover, in the colour you choose from the options above.
