DescriptionThe whole story▼

The 1299 Panigale carries the same left-hand bar position as the 1199 Panigale, so Accossato's five-button PS014 clamps on in the same way on either bike. Riders who want several switches close to the clutch lever, rather than hunting for one shared button among two or three, get yellow, green, white, black and blue positions running down the bar, each wired separately to whatever the bike's electronics are set up to do.

Key Features

  • Plug & Play Accossato switch panel for the Ducati Panigale 1299 (2015–2018)
  • 5 buttons, left-hand side
  • Top button monostable, yellow
  • Second button monostable, green
  • Third button monostable, white
  • Fourth button monostable, black
  • Bottom button monostable, blue
  • Supplied with a handlebar clamp for mounting

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the PS014 for the Panigale 1299 built from 2015 to 2018. The same five-button panel also fits the 1199 Panigale and the 959 Panigale, since all three share the clamp position Accossato uses on the left side of the bar. For the right-hand side of the 1299, Accossato pairs this with the PS010, a two-button panel that mounts directly to the brake master cylinder instead of clamping to the bar.

Five Positions, One Cable

The clamp that comes with the PS014 fits around the handlebar next to the left grip, holding the panel steady once it is tightened during installation; nothing about this mounting method depends on the bracket fitted to the clutch master cylinder on any particular 1299. All five buttons are monostable, each a simple press-and-release switch, and every one of the five runs back to the bike through a single cable rather than five separate leads. The colour order from top to bottom, yellow, green, white, black and blue, is there to help a rider identify each position by feel, since no fixed function is printed or wired into any of them.

Road Approval

No ABE or German Teilegutachten is documented by Accossato for the PS014, and Inter-Pace has none on file. Because the handlebar switchgear changes with this panel fitted, riders who use their 1299 Panigale on public roads should check the modification with a testing authority or qualified workshop beforehand. Accossato's Racing branding points first to track and closed-course riding.

Scope of Delivery

The PS014 ships complete with its five buttons, one cable and the handlebar clamp needed to fit it. Wiring that cable into the bike's switchgear or an aftermarket control unit is left to the installer, and no bracket for the clutch master cylinder is supplied, since this panel mounts on the bar instead.
