DescriptionThe whole story▼
Husqvarna's TE 125 is the entry point into its two-stroke enduro range, a light bike built for riders who want the agility of a small two-stroke on tight trail. Accossato lists the GCM1 chain guide for the TE 125 built in 2014, 2015 and 2016, fitted ahead of the rear sprocket to keep the chain tracking true as the bike picks its way through technical ground.
Key Features
- Chain guide for the Husqvarna TE 125, 2014 to 2016
- Accossato code GCM1, mounted ahead of the rear sprocket
- Keeps the chain running on a steady line through tight, technical trail
- Available in orange, blue or black
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna TE 250, the Husqvarna TC 125 and the KTM 125 EXC
- Accossato also offers a swingarm slider and both styles of axle block for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato shapes the GCM1 to the TE 125's own swingarm, rather than offering a single guide meant to suit several bikes, so it sits ahead of the sprocket exactly where this frame places it. Orange, blue and black are simply three colour options; none changes how the guide holds the chain on line. A guide that has taken a solid knock from a rock or root and now looks pushed out of shape should be removed and checked rather than trusted by eye.
Learning Trail Craft on a Small Two-Stroke
Many riders come to the TE 125 as a step up from a smaller trail bike, using its light weight and manageable power to learn how to read technical ground before moving to a bigger machine. That learning process involves plenty of low-speed, awkward moments: stalling halfway up a bank, clipping a root at the wrong angle, or dabbing a foot down hard enough to unsettle the whole bike for a second. None of that is particularly hard on the engine, but it is exactly the kind of riding that can catch a chain guide against something it was not aimed at, simply because the bike is being placed less precisely than an experienced rider would manage. Checking the guide occasionally during this learning phase, rather than assuming it is fine because nothing feels obviously wrong, catches the kind of knock that is easy to miss.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's own application list gives 2014 to 2016 for the TE 125 against the GCM1, matching the years shown here. The same guide also covers the TE 250, the two-stroke motocross TC 125, and the smaller KTM 125 EXC, among the wider range Accossato lists elsewhere for this part. The GPM1 swingarm slider and either style of axle block are also listed for this bike for a complete chain-line refresh. Checking the TE 125's exact build year against the application list before ordering remains worth doing.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the GCM1, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
Scope of Delivery
