DescriptionThe whole story▼
The BN 600 GT is the touring member of Benelli's four-cylinder 600 family: the inline four of the naked BN 600, with a half fairing and a taller screen that keep the wind off the rider on longer journeys. Wind protection makes a bike more relaxing, but it also changes how fast you think you are going. The Accossato EDF016 replaces the GT's front brake lever with a machined aluminium one that fits the original master cylinder and can be set closer to or further from the grip. It is listed for 2015 and 2016.

- Short and long blades in selected colours
- CNC-machined, anodised aluminium, black hub

- No German ABE documented, sold for track use
Construction and Material Quality
On a touring bike, every lever is a part used thousands of times a year, and the EDF016 is made with that in mind. Accossato cuts it from solid aluminium on CNC machines and anodises it afterwards, a finish that becomes part of the metal's surface and copes with gloves, wet weather and the occasional wash. The hub is always black and contains the pivot and the reach adjuster. The blade, anodised in the colour you order, is fixed: one piece of metal from the hub to the tip, without a folding joint.
Faster Than It Feels
Behind a screen, speed becomes quieter. The wind no longer tugs at your helmet and shoulders, the noise drops, and your body stops reporting how fast the bike is really going. That is the whole point of a GT, but it has a side effect that experienced touring riders know well: you arrive at the next bend or village sign faster than you meant to. The remedy is to glance at the speedometer more often and to start braking earlier, with a gentle first squeeze that settles the fork before the real deceleration begins. That first squeeze depends on the lever. If it sits too far away, the fingers reach for it late and grab. If it sits right, braking starts smoothly and exactly when you decide. Set the EDF016's reach with the gloves you wear on tour, and if you like a little more leverage in thick gloves, choose the long blade in blue, gold, green or orange for your BN 600 GT.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the EDF016 for the BN 600 GT from 2015 to 2016, mounted on the original front brake master cylinder. On the clutch side, the ESD037 is Accossato's lever for the same bikes and model years, so both hands can be set up alike.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE documented for this lever, which we sell for circuit use only.
