DescriptionThe whole story

Corner entry is where a Daytona 765 Moto 2 is quick or slow, and the lever decides it. ZCOO's answer is the B005 - the longest pad ZCOO builds - filling the Brembo caliper of the Daytona 765 Moto 2. In EXR the Daytona 765 Moto 2 gets the compound ZCOO now points endurance and sprint racers toward.

Key Features

  • Backed by the ZCOO 2026 catalogue listing for the Triumph Daytona 765 Moto 2, 2020 to 2022
  • Stable friction from the first squeeze to the wear limit, so the Daytona 765 Moto 2 brakes the same on a cold morning and at the bottom of a pass
  • Developed on the same ceramic platform ZCOO supplies to endurance teams at Suzuka and the Bol d'Or
  • Selected by ZCOO for the Triumph Daytona 765 Moto 2 out of the sixteen shapes in the 2026 programme
  • Two pads per pack, matched as a set for one Brembo caliper
  • Part number Z-B005-EXR, EAN 4950545771773

Construction and Material Quality

The Triumph Daytona 765 Moto 2 pad is made the way ZCOO makes its competition references. At 8.05 mm the B005 carries its ceramic layer on a plate cut to fill the Brembo caliper window exactly. That is why the B005 holds a consistent contact patch deep into its service life.

Performance and Feel

The mixture in the B005 changed in 2026, and so did the plate behind it. EXR is the compound ZCOO now supplies to its endurance teams, in the B005 shape the Daytona 765 Moto 2 takes. On the Daytona 765 Moto 2 it means the fifteenth lap can be braked like the second.

Fitment and Compatibility

For the Daytona 765 Moto 2 of 2020 to 2022 the B005 is the shape ZCOO lists. The same B005 shape covers 117 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Front axle only. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 102.2 mm length and 42.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
