Sprint Filter P08 Air Filter for Road & Track – Voge Trofeo 300AC (2020–2021) SM257S

Voge has used the Trofeo name more than once, and the versions do not all take the same air filter. This catalogue lists a Trofeo at 300, at 350, at 500 and, as the ACX Scrambler, at 525 cm³ — and they do not all arrive at one part number. SM257S is the element cut for the 300, built across 2020 and 2021. Before ordering by name, check the capacity on your registration document: on this range the badge alone will not get you the right panel.

Ordering a Trofeo by number

The rule is simple once the trap is visible: match the capacity and the year first, then the part number, and treat the model name as the last check rather than the first. The 300 of 2020 and 2021 sits on SM257S alongside two other Voge lines; the 350 has an element of its own, and the 500 and the 525 ACX Scrambler share a third. Nothing on the badge tells you which — the airbox does, and an airbox is not something an owner measures. That is why the compatibility list is the real description on a page like this one, and why it is worth reading before the basket rather than after.

The medium itself

Dry woven polyester, one layer, 80 µm between the threads at a rated 5,050 l/m²/sec. The ø 22 micron figure quoted for the fibre is a thread dimension and not an opening; what passes or stops is decided by the gaps around it. Low resistance is bought with surface, around double what other performance elements carry, folded into the series housing. And the honest ceiling: this panel will not make a standard Trofeo 300AC noticeably faster. It gives a lower intake restriction that stays where it started, and a part that is cleaned rather than repurchased.

Care and cleaning

Compressed air is the whole routine for most intervals. Work from the clean side outward so that what the cloth caught leaves the way it entered; driving it the other way sets it into the weave. When air no longer clears it, lukewarm water with a mild washing-up detergent will, followed by a rinse until the water comes away clean. After that the SM257S dries in moving room air and nothing warmer — no heater, no hot air gun, no flame — and it is refitted dry, with nothing sprayed onto it.
