DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered to exceed the coverage of the stock front mudguard, the Puig front mudguard extension for the Honda CB500 Hornet and CB500 Hornet Eclutch (2024–2026) delivers proven road debris protection and engine splash protection without a single drill hole or permanent modification to your motorcycle's frame. Crafted from high-impact ABS plastic in a clean black finish, this front fender extender integrates seamlessly with the factory mudguard to form a cohesive, purpose-built defence line between your engine and the road.
Key Features
- Significantly extends the coverage of the original front fender, channelling water, grit and road debris away from the engine, radiator and lower fairing panels.
- Manufactured from high-impact ABS plastic — resistant to stone strikes, fuel splash and UV degradation for long-term durability.
- Supplied with dedicated plastic rivets for a secure, permanent attachment directly to the OEM mudguard — no drilling, no guesswork.
- Puig provides installation tips included with the part to simplify fitment and ensure correct positioning first time.
- Lightweight at just 86 g, adding meaningful protection without any measurable impact on handling or unsprung weight.
- Finished in black to match the CB500 Hornet's factory colour scheme, maintaining the bike's clean street aesthetic.
Purpose-Built Anti-Splash Guard
On the Honda CB500 Hornet and Eclutch variant, the OEM mudguard leaves the lower engine cases, radiator and rider's boots exposed to the constant spray thrown up by the front tyre in wet conditions. The Puig front splash guard closes that gap. Rivet-mounted to the underside of the stock fender, it extends the mud-shedding surface far enough to redirect contaminated water and debris before it reaches sensitive components. The result is a cleaner engine bay, reduced wear on seals and hoses, and noticeably drier boots on commutes or touring runs in mixed weather.
Precise Fitment, Minimal Installation Time
Puig designs model-specific fender extenders rather than generic kits, meaning the profile of this piece is shaped precisely for the CB500 Hornet's OEM mudguard geometry. The included plastic rivets lock the extension in place permanently without tools beyond a basic trim rivet tool. Puig also packages printed fitting guidance with the part to walk you through alignment and rivet placement — a small detail that removes all ambiguity from the installation process.
Fitment & Compatibility
This front mudguard extension is designed exclusively for the following model:
- Honda CB500 Hornet / Eclutch (2024–2026)
Always confirm your motorcycle's model year before ordering. This extension mounts to the original OEM front fender and is not intended for use with aftermarket mudguards of differing profiles.
