What It Is
00519-14 is the 12 mm, 30 mm, 3.3 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping.
