10 mm, 20 mm, 32 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping. Öhlins gives every washer and spacer its own part number because its length or thickness is part of the internal geometry.
