Replacing seals at service intervals is far cheaper than replacing what a failed seal damages. Seals harden with heat and age even when the machine has not been ridden much. Assembly grease matters — the wrong compound swells the seal and it fails early.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 01048-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Seals harden with heat and age even when the machine has not been ridden much. Seal kits gather the pieces one rebuild needs, which avoids a second order mid-job.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01048-01

Category: Sealing Washers

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01048-01_a2f3af04-0035-454e-be7c-be57c874c41e.png?v=1788873073
