Function

The published dimensions are inner diameter 34 mm, outer diameter 38 mm, thickness 0.25 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Face flatness matters as much as thickness — a shim that does not seal against its neighbour leaks damping. Öhlins stamps and grinds its shims to tolerances a general-purpose washer never holds.
