An original Öhlins service part, listed under its own number in the Öhlins spare parts catalogue.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 00159-01

What It Is

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Service parts make the difference between a damper that is rebuilt and one that is replaced. Öhlins does not sell service parts as pattern equivalents — there is one specification. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00159-01. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Service parts are what make an Öhlins unit worth rebuilding rather than replacing. This part comes from the same production line as the components it is fitted to.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00159-01

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/a_img-00000336_6f7b05bd-d888-43a8-a678-2e60d585533b.png?v=1789655089
