What It Is
This one measures 22.2 mm, 26 mm, 120 mm, and those figures are what separate it from the neighbouring numbers. Öhlins uses PTFE-coated bushings for a low breakaway force. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge. Sleeves position parts axially and often set the preload on a stack.
Original Öhlins Part
Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.
How to Be Sure It Fits
Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21757-08 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. inner diameter 22.2 mm, outer diameter 26 mm, length 120 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge. Sleeves position parts axially and often set the preload on a stack.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
