How to measure your helmet size correctly: Measure your head circumference with a flexible tape around the widest part of the head, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows. Measure 2–3 times and compare with the chart. Between sizes, usually choose the larger size.
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without uncomfortable pressure points. A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Shell, Safety and the Modular System
The Genesis R SV is built on an HIRP (High Impact Resistant Polymer) shell and carries full ECE 22.06 homologation, tested at more impact points and speeds than the previous standard. Its modular structure uses a reliable locking system to hold the chin guard securely closed, while the micrometric buckle fastens quickly and precisely.
Visor, Sun Visor and Anti-Fog
The 935 visor gives a wide, clear field of vision and mounts with a quick, secure system. It is ready for the Pinlock DKS279 / DKS002 anti-fog lens (sold separately) for fog-free vision in cold and wet weather. A drop-down integrated sun visor handles glare and retracts fully when not needed.
An Honest Word on What This Helmet Is
The Genesis R SV is a lot of modular for the money, but it is an accessible model and it is fair to be clear about that. Like every flip-up it is heavier than a full-face (the chin-guard mechanism adds weight — MT has not published an exact figure; a HIRP modular of this class is typically around 1.6–1.7 kg). It is homologated to ECE 22.06 for road use. None of this is a flaw at the price; it is a comfortable, versatile everyday modular.
