DescriptionThe whole story▼
Nobody drops a Panigale V4 at speed — they drop it at a standstill, with the engine off. Enter the ARDU110: nylon outside for elasticity, Ergal inside for strength, 340 g on the scales. It is offered in 3 colours: Black, Grey, Red. Fitted to the Panigale V4 it uses the mounting points the bike already has, so nothing is drilled.
Key Features
- At 340 g the ARDU110 is the cheapest thing on the Panigale V4 to sacrifice
- Built as a wear part: on the Panigale V4 you renew the sliding surface, not the mount
- Protects the fork bottoms and swingarm ends of the Panigale V4 in a low-speed fall
- Covers the Panigale V4 across 9 model years (2018 to 2026)
- Ergal is the alloy family LighTech also uses for its Panigale V4 rearsets
- The screen-printed ARDU110 shell keeps its marking after the first scuff
- Available in 3 finishes for the Panigale V4: Black, Grey, Red
The Idea Behind It
The principle is simple and the execution is not: stand proud, give way, stay attached. Nylon on the outside of the ARDU110 deforms under impact and springs back afterwards. A scuffed ARDU110 is renewed at the insert, not at the kit, which is the point.
Materials and Construction
Nylon forms the outside of the ARDU110; the material is elastic enough to take repeated knocks. Behind the nylon is an Ergal insert that carries the load into the axle. Because the insert is a separate item, a scuffed ARDU110 is rebuilt rather than replaced.
Supplied As
LighTech packs the ARDU110 with everything the Panigale V4 axles need and nothing they do not. Spare elements for the ARDU110 are listed separately, which keeps a repair cheap on a Panigale V4.
Compatibility and Installation
LighTech lists the ARDU110 for the Ducati Panigale V4. Check the clearance to the surrounding bodywork once fitted and set it with the supplied spacers.
Installation
The ARDU110 arrives complete; no separate fastener order is required for the Panigale V4. Thread-locking compound is sensible on a Panigale V4 that sees track use. Black, Grey, Red: 3 finishes of the same ARDU110, identical in fit on the Panigale V4.
Road Approval
LighTech supplies no type-approval document with the ARDU110, and we make no approval claim for it. German vehicle inspection can take an interest in anything that protrudes from a Ducati Panigale V4. We would rather you asked first than discovered it at the inspection.
