Fitting a billet tank to an XSR900 starts with deciding where it goes. The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. There is no colour choice here — the OBT009 is black. It changes the part of the XSR900 the rider looks at most.

Maintenance
Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT009. There is no service interval for the part itself.
The Mount Decides the Fit
LighTech splits reservoir and bracket because the bracket is what varies by machine. Black anodised aluminium at 10 g, which is all the OBT009 needs to be. Black is the only finish LighTech makes it in.

Mounting It
The OBT009 replaces an existing part on the XSR900 rather than adding one. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the XSR900 decides the angle. Keep the original parts — the change is fully reversible on the XSR900.

No reservoir is included with the OBT009. It carries the OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 range, which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the XSR900, you need both lines on the order.
Road Use and Approval
Anything in the hydraulic circuit of an XSR900 is safety-relevant by definition. LighTech supplies no type-approval document with the OBT009, and we make no approval claim for it. Road use on the XSR900 means two steps: clarify it beforehand, test it afterwards.
