That is the OBT009: a 10 g bracket measuring 28.9 mm in height and 31 mm in projection. LighTech anodises it black and offers nothing else. It changes the part of the XSR700 the rider looks at most.

Key Features

Supplied individually for the XSR700

Fitting the OBT009 to the XSR700 needs hand tools only

Steel-free so nothing corrodes into the XSR700 fitting

It is the smallest line on the order

It is the cheapest visible change on an XSR700

10 g of bracket on the XSR700

Maintenance

Check the bracket fasteners on the XSR700 at the same interval as the bar clamps. Otherwise it is a fit-and-forget item on the XSR700.

The Mount Decides the Fit

The bracket is the part that has to suit the XSR700, not the tank. The OBT009 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring 28.9 mm and 31 mm. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

Application

The listing is for the XSR700 and the years 2014 to 2026. The bracket carries the reservoir; check the space on your XSR700 before deciding front or rear.

Mounting It

Fitting the OBT009 to an XSR700 is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the XSR700 decides the angle. Everything removed from the XSR700 can go straight back on.

Scope of Delivery

One bracket per package for the XSR700. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

What You Also Need

LighTech sells this mount on its own. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your XSR700.

Approval and Safety

On an XSR700 this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. The OBT009 is sold without approval documentation of any kind. Have a workshop bleed and pressure-test the XSR700 circuit once the part is on, whatever your inspector says.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Yamaha XSR700 (2014 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_d87547e9-5cca-4dd8-8de9-1175ea553401.png?v=1791204610
