The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. LighTech anodises it black and offers nothing else. Fitting it to a DIAVEL is a job of minutes, not hours.

Key Features

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

Reversible — the original part goes back on the DIAVEL any time

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

It is the smallest line on the order

Fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

Fitment

Fitment is the DIAVEL across 2011 to 2019. It is an adaptable bracket, not a Ducati part — measure the space on the DIAVEL first.

In the Workshop

The OBT009 goes on with the DIAVEL on its stand. Check steering lock on the DIAVEL once the tank is in place. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride.

Where the Reservoir Ends Up

The bracket is the part that has to suit the DIAVEL, not the tank. The OBT009 sets the reservoir at 28.9 mm height with 31 mm of projection. It is the smallest part of the installation.

Before You Order

The OBT009 is a bracket and nothing else. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your DIAVEL.

Maintenance

Check the bracket fasteners on the DIAVEL at the same interval as the bar clamps. Nothing else about the OBT009 wears in normal use.

In the Package

LighTech ships the OBT009 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Regulations and the Hydraulic Circuit

On a DIAVEL this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. The OBT009 is sold without approval documentation of any kind. For a road-registered DIAVEL in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Ducati DIAVEL (2011 to 2019)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_e91d67f0-9f63-46af-8828-fb557d3f0ab1.png?v=1791203807
