The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. There is no colour choice here — the OBT009 is black. Nothing on the HP4 is cut or drilled to fit it.

Key Features

LighTech part number OBT009, listed for the BMW HP4

10 g of bracket on the HP4

It is the cheapest visible change on an HP4

Nothing on the HP4 is drilled, cut or permanently altered

Fitting the OBT009 to the HP4 needs hand tools only

10 g on the HP4

The Mount Decides the Fit

Two brackets exist for a reason: height and projection differ front to rear. Black anodised aluminium at 10 g, which is all the OBT009 needs to be. One bracket per reservoir — the HP4 needs the tank ordered alongside.

Fitment

This listing covers the BMW HP4, 2013 to 2018. Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the HP4 is your decision, not a fixed point.

Installation

Installation on the HP4 needs no special service tool. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the HP4, never below. The original part goes back on the HP4 any time.

Care and Checks

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT009. The OBT009 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.

Scope of Delivery

One bracket per package for the HP4. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the HP4.

Before You Order

The OBT009 is a bracket and nothing else. It carries LighTech's reservoir range — OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007, which are ordered separately. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your HP4.

Road Use and Approval

A fluid reservoir is part of the braking system, and German law treats it that way. LighTech does not certify the OBT009 for road use, and neither do we. On a registered HP4, clarify the change with your inspection body, and let a workshop bleed and test the system after fitting.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: BMW HP4 (2013 to 2018)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_6d01ab40-92ce-4527-b5b0-0fb3ac9ee2f7.png?v=1791203776
