DescriptionThe whole story▼
Purple is one of the more unusual Moto 4.5 colourways, built on the same durable race pant: unlined for breathability, laser-perforated for airflow and stitched in twin and triple seams.
A YKK semi-auto lock zipper and the 360° Hypalon Waistlock take care of closure and fit.
Key Features
- Classic fit with pre-curved legs, refined for the riding stance
- Four-way stretch from Leatt's Twisted Yarn fabric
- 360° Hypalon Waistlock system
- Softer, more durable leather knee panel on multi-layered inner panels
- Safety seams in two or three rows
- Deliberately unlined construction
- DWR C0 coating without PFAS
Made for knee braces
Where braces rub, 1200D fabric covers a larger area than before. The knee panels are leather, now softer according to Leatt while lasting longer.
Cut and stretch
This is not a skin-tight race pant: Leatt calls it a refined pre-curved classic fit, with room for knee guards underneath. Twisted Yarn stretch fabric gives in every direction, so squatting over the bike or reaching for the bars does not tug at the seams. The waistband locks via a 360° system in Hypalon rather than a simple buckle. Sizes for this version run from XS to XXL.
Material
Stretch where you move, 900D where it wears: the reinforcement panels do not stretch. Leatt backs the seams with twin/triple stitching and reinforces stress points by direct injection. Closure is handled by a locking YKK zip.
Breathability
An unlined construction keeps the pant light and airy. Laser-perforated areas help on hot days. Leatt treats the fabric with water-repellent DWR C0, free of PFAS (PFC). The textiles are OEKO-TEX and REACH tested.
Use
It is aimed at riders who race at weekends and want a pant that holds up between seasons. Its reinforced high-wear zones and comfortable construction are made to stand up to the demands of race day.
What you should know
There is no waterproof layer; expect water-repellence from the DWR C0 treatment, nothing more. It is riding gear, not certified protective clothing, so pair it with knee guards or braces. Riders who avoid leather should know the knee panels are leather.
Colour
On the pictures the main colour is a mint green, with white panels at the hips and deep purple accents along the sides and on the rear yoke; the inner knees are black. The mint and purple mix is bright and modern. Mint will show mud and dust quite quickly.
