DescriptionThe whole story▼

All black and quietly technical, the Leatt Moto 4.5 Lite Glove is the choice for riders who want knuckle protection without a bulky glove. ReaFlex impact gel shields the knuckles and the third and fourth fingers, and the glove carries CE certification to EN 13594:2015.

Leatt pairs that protection with a ventilated mesh upper and an ultra-thin NanoGrip palm, so feel and airflow remain close to those of a lightweight glove.

Key Features

  • ReaFlex impact gel, 3D-moulded and slim, over knuckles and third and fourth fingers
  • CE (EU) 2016/425, tested to EN 13594:2015
  • NanoGrip palm: ultra-thin, durable, grippy wet or dry
  • Ventilated upper mesh
  • Flexible, breathable palm with a concealed reinforcement
  • Touchscreen-compatible fingertips

Grip and bar feel

NanoGrip, the ultra-thin palm material from Leatt, is the reason the 4.5 Lite does not feel like a heavy protective glove in the hand. The brand rates it for exceptional comfort, feel and grip in all conditions. Pre-curved and seamless, the palm hides its reinforcement inside, and it stays flexible and breathable.

Airflow

The upper uses mesh for ventilation, and stretch mesh continues along the finger sides. Hands stay cooler on hot track days, which matters on a glove that also carries gel protection.

Impact protection

Leatt places slim ReaFlex gel, moulded in 3D, over the knuckles and over the third and fourth fingers. The gel is designed to protect without compromising flexibility or movement. Certification follows Regulation (EU) 2016/425 with testing to EN 13594:2015.

Fit and closure

A pre-curved, snug cut and FormFit finger stitching keep the glove close to the hand for grip and feel. The wrist is closed with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap.

Durability

The seams use multi-row Coats® stretch thread to cope with constant flexing. The glove comes in plastic-free packaging.

What you should know

No EN 13594 performance level is given for this glove, only the standard itself. The ReaFlex gel is a slim, flexible protector, not a rigid knuckle shell. The upper is mesh, so it is neither waterproof nor warm, and it is best suited to the riding season rather than winter.

Colour

The black 4.5 Lite is black and dark grey throughout, with the triangular texture of the gel pads visible on the knuckles and fingers and a subtle grey Leatt logo. The palm is grey. It is the least conspicuous colourway and hides dirt and wear best. This black belongs to the current V27 collection.
