DescriptionThe whole story▼
JetPrime's bronze JP PDQ KT016 E fits the Super Duke GT, carrying the right-hand switchgear onto the quick throttle body for KTM's sport-touring derivative of the 1290 platform, built with a fairing and longer-distance comfort in mind.
Key Features
- KTM 1290 Superduke GT (2022–2024)
- Fits the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT (2022–2024)
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal, bronze anodised
- Mounts onto the JetPrime quick throttle body
- Plug and play on the factory connector
- Only usable alongside a JetPrime quick throttle
The Super Duke Gains Luggage
KTM took the 1290's engine and chassis, added a fairing, an adjustable screen and panniers, then stretched the wheelbase slightly, turning the naked hyper-naked into a sport tourer without losing the underlying character of the platform. That single fact about Luggage is worth checking before placing an order.
A Fairing Doesn't Change the Throttle Job
Despite the extra bodywork, fitting a quick-action throttle to the GT works the same way as on the naked Super Duke R, and the displaced switchgear still needs this dedicated housing on the throttle body. It is a small point about Throttle, but a real one in the workshop.
Bronze on a Sport Tourer
The CNC-milled Ergal 7075 housing, anodised bronze, offers the GT's cockpit a finish distinct from the titanium option, a cosmetic detail some riders choose to match other bronze or gold hardware already on the bike. That detail around Tourer is easy to overlook until the part is in hand.
Comfort-Oriented, Still a V-Twin at Heart
The GT keeps the 1290's V-twin engine character even as the rest of the bike leans toward comfort, which is part of why some owners still want a shortened, quicker-acting throttle despite the touring brief. It is the kind of thing that only matters once Heart is actually fitted.
Its Own Connector Within the Range
The GT's wiring at this connector matches its own loom rather than the naked Super Duke's, so this switch is built and supplied specifically for the GT trim alone, not the wider 1290 range. Few riders think about Range until the switch is already on the bench.
