DescriptionThe whole story▼
JetPrime's bronze JP PDQ KT069 E switch mounts to the quick throttle on a KTM 1290 Super Adventure (2017-2020), keeping the controls that conversion displaces off an already busy touring handlebar rather than crowding it further.

A Touring Bar Already Full
Long-distance Super Adventure builds often carry GPS mounts, auxiliary lighting switches and heated grip controls before anyone even considers a quick throttle. Putting this switch on the throttle body rather than the bar avoids adding to an already crowded space.
Bronze That Travels Well
The anodised bronze finish is part of the Ergal 7075 itself rather than a coating, so it keeps its colour through the temperature swings and long days a touring bike sees that a painted switch would eventually show wear from.
No Separate Mounting Point
This part attaches exclusively to JetPrime's quick throttle rather than clamping to the handlebar on its own. A Super Adventure without that throttle fitted first leaves the switch with nowhere to go. The two parts are bought and fitted together, never one without the other.
A Short Reach for a Hand That Stays Busy
On long rides the throttle hand rarely leaves its position, so placing the switch right there rather than further along the bar keeps the movement needed to reach it small, which matters more over hours than it does on a short ride.
An Adventure Bike Built to Keep Going
The Super Adventure is sized and equipped for covering real distance rather than short outings, which is exactly the kind of use where keeping switchgear logically placed and out of the way earns its keep over thousands of kilometres. A switch that stays out of the way rather than demanding attention suits that kind of riding well.
