DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered exclusively for closed-circuit competition, this Fullsix Carbon Oversize Racing air duct is a track-only component that replaces the OEM unit on the Ducati Panigale 899 (2013–2016) with a direct, no-modification fit. The enlarged intake geometry increases airflow volume to the engine, improving both cooling efficiency and power delivery under sustained race conditions — and because it carries no road-use approval (no ABE or parts certificate), every gram and every millimetre has been optimised purely for performance, without compromise.
Key Features
- Track-only racing specification: designed from the ground up for professional motorsport use, tested under extreme race conditions without road-use restrictions diluting the design.
- Oversize intake geometry: enlarged inlet openings measurably increase fresh-air volume to the engine, enhancing both thermal management and power output on circuit.
- 100% genuine carbon fibre construction (200 Plain weave): ultralight, structurally rigid and heat-resistant, with a weave pattern that mirrors the factory Ducati carbon aesthetic.
- Plug-and-play OEM replacement: mounts directly in place of the original part with no drilling, cutting or additional tooling required.
- UV-stable and weather-resistant finish: the carbon surface resists fading and material fatigue, maintaining its appearance across a full race season.
- Three finish options — Glossy, Matte or Raw — allowing integration with any livery or the option of a custom paint over the Raw surface.
Construction and Material
Fullsix uses a 200 Plain carbon fibre layup that balances torsional stiffness with low mass. The 200 Plain weave is the same structural format used on Ducati's own carbon accessories, so the part reads as factory-correct when viewed alongside standard Ducati carbon components. The resin system is cured to withstand sustained elevated temperatures typical of race-engine bays, and the surface coat — in whichever finish you select — is applied to the same standard as Fullsix's race-team supply parts.
Finish Options
The Oversize Racing air duct is available in three distinct surface treatments to suit your build or livery:
- Glossy: a deep, mirror-like lacquer finish that accentuates the carbon weave and suits polished race bodywork.
- Matte: a satin, non-reflective surface with a purposeful, modern competition aesthetic.
- Raw: untreated carbon, supplied ready for custom painting, wrapping or clear-coating to your own specification.
Important Notice — Track Use Only
This air duct is a motorsport component with no ABE (general operating permit) and no parts certificate (Teilegutachten). It is not approved for use on public roads. Fitment to a road-registered motorcycle is the sole responsibility of the owner. This part is intended exclusively for closed-circuit racing and track-day use.
