DescriptionThe whole story▼
On track, a stray hand or an unintended contact with the brake lever can end a session in an instant. The Bonamici Racing Brake Lever Guard EVO LPRR2 is a race-derived solution purpose-built for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R Fireblade SC82, delivering the same cockpit protection trusted by competition teams directly to your OEM handlebar — no modifications, no compromise.
Key Features
- CNC-machined aluminium construction — lightweight, precise and built to withstand the rigours of track use without adding unnecessary mass to the cockpit.
- Aerodynamically optimised profile reduces turbulence at the lever, contributing to handlebar stability at high speed where it matters most.
- Effective protection against inadvertent brake application caused by foreign contact — a critical safety advantage in close racing conditions and on congested pit lanes.
- Supplied with the dedicated ADLH19_U adapter for a direct, 100% OEM-compatible fit on the SC82 standard handlebar — no additional hardware required.
- Available in eight anodised colour finishes to complement your livery or personalise your cockpit.
- 100% Made in Italy — manufactured to Bonamici Racing's exacting standards of precision and performance.
Race-Derived Engineering
Bonamici Racing developed the Brake Lever Guard EVO line specifically in response to the demands of circuit competition. The EVO designation reflects a refined aerodynamic shape over earlier generations, channelling airflow cleanly past the lever assembly rather than creating the turbulence that a blunt guard profile can introduce. On the CBR 1000 RR-R SC82 — a machine already optimised for outright lap times — this level of detail matters. The guard is CNC-machined from aluminium billet, ensuring tight tolerances, consistent finish and a part that will survive repeated trackday use without deforming or rattling loose.
Road to Track Versatility
While the LPRR2 is at home on circuit, it is equally relevant for spirited road riding where the risk of unintended brake lever contact is just as real. Fitting directly to the OEM handlebar of the SC82 via the ADLH19_U adapter, installation is straightforward and reversible. The eight available anodised finishes — black, blue, bronze, gold, green, orange, red and silver — mean the guard integrates cleanly with stock or aftermarket colour schemes alike.
